Portraits
Over the past decades I have portrayed people in many different countries.
Taking portraits is always an honor and a challenge.
A portrait is how the photographer sees you and he always hopes you are happy with the portrait.
But the most important thing is that it shows a little bit of you in a photo
Portraits Analogue
Shooting with my Hasselblad from 1975 (my birth year) is 100% photography for me.
I love shooting film with that nice coarse grain.
The tension as you develop the film and then finally the result is a beautiful way to experience photography

Do you remember what it was like to be a teenager?
I remember it as a time filled with uncertainty, doubt, and questions about myself, the world, and where I belonged in it. It's an age suspended between childhood and adulthood, where everything feels both possible and overwhelming. It's a phase marked by intensity: emotions run deep, friendships shape your identity, and every experience feels like it could change your life. You start to see the world differently, yet you're still trying to understand who you are. That in-between state where you're no longer a child, but not quite an adult, can feel both liberating and lonely.
When I look at teenagers now, I often see the same mix of hope and confusion, strength and vulnerability. It's a universal experience, yet each person navigates it in their way, shaped by their background, environment, and the time they live in. This period of life fascinates me, not only because of what I remember from my youth, but because it remains such a formative and fragile moment in all of our lives.
In my work, I try to capture that emotional complexity, those quiet moments of introspection, the invisible pressures, and the fierce, flickering light of possibility that defines the teenage years.
Portraits
Over the years, I've had the privilege of photographing many people, from world-famous figures to individuals living in poverty and difficult circumstances. No matter who is in front of the camera, each photograph presents the same challenge: to create an image that not only captures their appearance, but also reveals something deeper—something honest, respectful, and uniquely my interpretation of who they are.
Every person has a story, and every portrait is a chance to tell it with care, dignity, and a personal perspective.
